OUR PERFORMANCE
In Central Europe , we launched a
three - year regenerative agriculture
pilot with Suntory in the Czech
Republic , where four farmers are
trialling practices across 400 hectares
to generate science - based data on soil
health , biodiversity and carbon reduction .
While commercial demand continues to
drive the development of regenerative
and low - carbon value chains , this alone
will not deliver the pace of change
needed to meet our 2030 targets .
To accelerate regenerative agriculture ,
we are creating new pathways to support
farmers in adopting climate - smart
practices using the right mix of technical
expertise and targeted support . This
will include co - f inancing models and
verif ied insetting schemes that reward
measurable reductions in emissions and
recognise the shared responsibility of
transformation across our value chain .
The shift to regenerative
agriculture brings real risks ,
and the farmers who take it on
do so with courage , and often
at a cost . From experience ,
we know that farmers need
more than advice ; they need
partnership . Our role is to
share knowledge , transfer
skills , and help manage
those challenges .

DIRECTOR OF AGRONOMY
Our farmers and their agricultural
practices are the main levers
for limiting GHGs , meeting the
expectations of our value chain
and enabling us to achieve the
decarbonisation objectives associated
with this sector . This is why we must
support them in this agroecological
transition by adopting smart practices
in the face of climate change and
managing their risks to ensure the
resilience of their working tools .
