SUSTAINABILITY GOVERNANCE

Sustainability governance

is grounded in our values

and our commitment to

responsible , transparent

business . Our sustainability

strategy was developed

by Souff let Malt ' s

executive leadership

team and approved by the

Supervisory Board and is

supported by frameworks

such as the SBTi .

Oversight is shared across our

leadership and specialist committees .

The Supervisory Board provides strategic

oversight of sustainability , while our

Audit , Nomination and Remuneration

and Sustainability committees guide

ethical conduct , compliance and the

delivery of our environmental , social and

governance ( ESG ) ambitions . Function -

level sustainability leads and regional

teams support implementation , with

progress monitored through measurable

key performance indicators ( KPIs ) .

Our governance framework is reinforced

by clear ethical standards , transparent

reporting and independent assurance .

A new company - wide code of conduct ,

f inalised in 2025 , unif ies expectations for

integrity , fairness and responsible behaviour

across all regions . Together , these elements

create a governance foundation that

supports informed decision - making ,

accountability and continuous improvement .

Souff let Malt ’ s sustainability strategy is mature ,

robust and clearly embedded in governance ,

and through its CSR ambition is closely aligned

with the objectives of IDIA ' s Fund . The continuity

and acceleration of the strategy following the

merger of Malteries Souff let & United Malting

Group demonstrate strong leadership , disciplined

execution and long - term strategic clarity , all of which

reinforce our conf idence in the group ’ s resilience

and f inancial performance .
