GOVERNANCE
As a newly integrated
organisation , we are in
the process of building a
governance structure that
will guide our sustainable
agriculture strategy .
To lead this work , we appointed a Director
of Agronomy who is responsible for
developing a shared framework , aligning
local projects with our science - based
climate targets and coordinating activities
across regions .
As effective governance requires reliable data ,
our f irst priority is to establish a foundation
from which to measure progress . This includes
creating country - level baselines that track
GHG emissions from barley and soil organic
carbon to improve how results are measured ,
compared and forecast across countries .
The team focuses on two core areas in
each of our regions . Firstly , supporting the
agronomic development of the countries
where we operate to ensure quality and
yield and secondly , developing sustainable
practices , including resource eff iciency and
soil health management , to meet customer
expectations .
